Sacred Wand Workshop

Please join my father and I as we host this very special workshop once again, creating unique Sacred Wands / Talking Sticks with beautiful stones, feathers, personalised engraving, and all the magic which mother nature has to enjoy.

This workshop was created by my father Keith and I, after my dear brother's sudden passing in 2018.

When it came to our own grief and loss, we personally felt the need to move through our own experience through sharing and creating. We needed an outlet, an expression that goes beyond traditional 'talking therapy.'

We created The Sacred Wand Workshop because we wanted a method that could help us move through our grief which included community, sharing stories and celebrating life.

Grief can be the loss of a loved one, it can be a new direction in life, a relationship ending. We can even grieve what we never got to experience. In this workshop, we will be weaving these emotions up to the heart space, allowing for expression and connection.

We are working with the Heart.

We believe that everyone has a unique expression that can be moved from the intangible to the tangible. We also believe in creating a space where we can just be.

Even as I write this I am getting teary, time as we know it loses meaning when we grieve. Whether it's a few months down the track or several years, grief speaks its own language for each one of us. It morphs and moves in its own way.

My father and I are ready to open up our hearts once again and share the experience of deep grief, to help guide others and move through our most challenging times with love and compassion.

Absolutely everyone is welcome. Even if you feel to gift yourself a beautiful experience, listen and be present with another while creating something unique and meaningful that you can treasure for the rest of your life.

It's the experiences, the kind-hearted people, and the special moments that we remember for the rest of our lives.

The intention of this workshop is to come together and create a Sacred Wand / Talking Stick, made from wood, feathers stones, and gems, as a reminder of our journey, our love, strength, and in loving memory.

The Wand represents the magic that still occurs, even in the darkest hours and to acknowledge and feel gratitude for the small, tremendously powerful moments that connect us back into our hearts.

This workshop will be facilitated by my father and I, offering our hearts and ears to help create a safe and beautiful space to explore creativity, open our hearts and just 'be' with whatever arises.

My father Keith has personally collected and prepared the wood we will be using from his own property in Lancelin. The Sacred Wand Workshop includes:

- All Materials (short wooden handle, feathers, gems to choose from, paint, string, glue, drilling services for name and patterns if desired)

- 5 hours to create your new, beautiful wand

- Morning Tea/Coffee (Please inform us of any food allergies you may have)

Please Bring:

- Anything that you may like to add to your Sacred Wand, perhaps something that may be of sentimental value or your own special gems, etc.

A bit more about my father Keith. My father has traveled the world and lived in Germany, Denmark, the Middle East and Doha for quite some time while we were children.

By day he is a Dental Technician, always cracking jokes and putting a smile on his friend's faces. He is incredibly passionate about vintage motorbikes and is incredibly creative generally.

The creativity definitely runs in the family. My father is an absolute legend of a person and I couldn't be a more proud daughter.
